Making Magical Moments: Internship at Disney World

If there is one thing I want to do in my life, it is to help others experience magical moments.

That is why I am so excited for the next chapter of my life.

On May 16th, I will be starting my internship at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. I will be there for the Fall semester, and I will be lifeguarding and taking Disney business classes.

Every day, I will  go to work knowing that the smallest of my actions will have a heightened impact on every person I meet. I am excited to meet people that will change my life, and to network with impactful people from all over the world.

I grew up in Colorado and haven’t been outside of the state much. To give you an idea…my first time at the beach was this year. I know, right?! I was missing out.

I have made it my life goal to experience as much of the world as possible, and this is a start.

However, my desire to experience the world goes beyond my wanderlust. It is derived from my desire to be a world-changer. I know that God is going to use my past and my determination to do amazing things in this world. I do not want to waste even a second of the gift He has given me to make an impact on earth. I know that since I have faith the size of a mustard seed, God will do amazing things with my life.

“Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” (Matthew 17:20)

I know that I will be working my butt off in the Disney Program, but I also know that I will be working for a greater purpose: living out a chapter in God’s will for my life.

I cannot wait to experience the mouse-shaped macaroons, endless nights in Disney World, run away trips to the beach, and the endless opportunities coming my way.

Please stay tuned to my blog for the Mickey-shaped waffles, surfing at Florida beaches, confrontations with alligators, and ridiculous lifeguard costumes (yay for Chacos, visors, and tan lines) that will ensue.

I cannot wait to see how God uses this journey for His Kingdom cause.

Love you all!
